Post_production Compositing Art Test

I was recently invited to participate in an Art test for a 2D overpaint artist role and with permission given, I am sharing the work done.
I started by blocking out a quick plan of what I wanted to add and what colours to change. The original file was edited by adding drop shadows, white lighting and warm candle lighting. Additionally, Ao occlusion and Luminance layers, that were provided, were multiplied over the final image.
For the clear background, all the objects were removed and then I painted over how the scene would look bare, making sure to have relevant lighting from the windows and the fireplace. No AI was used in this process and was all done manually.
